12 Minute Shuttle Walk Test
The objective of the 12 minute walk test is to observe a second wind and measure the maximum distance walked in 12 minutes to assess exercise function.

6 Minute Walk Test
The Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) is an objective evaluation of functional exercise capacity which measures how far a person can walk in six minutes (ATS 2002). It is a global measure of multiple body systems including cardiopulmonary, vascular and neuromuscular.

9 Hole Peg Test
This is a timed test for assessing fine motor coordination. It was originally developed for use in measuring hand function in stroke and MS patients. Normal values exist for children (aged 4-19). It has primarily been used in NMD for measuring hand function in adults and children with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease with some success.
